To be honest, for me I interpret the open ending as some sort of a bad ending. Cus if u listen to the song daylight "another world still needs your light" u understand. And suzy's bus stop phrase is also foreshadowing that, althrough they mat at the same bus stop, when the bus of their own world arrive again, they have to depart in their own ways. idk tho, for me i think the main message of this drama is that "short love and memories are as beautiful as forever ones"
