Hey guys, back with a new video of a drama I recently got hooked on while it was airing, Manatsu no Cinderella!
To be honest, this pair was a side couple, and there were 3 couples in total. I preferred these two together, simply by their minimal interaction in the earlier episodes. They just fit well together.
The female actress, Ai Yoshikawa (former stage name: Riko Yoshida) is one of Japan’s current rising stars, and she used to be a famous child actress, from the mid 2000s to late 2000s, so maybe a few of you would probably recognize her.
As for the actor, Riku Hagiwara (well they grew up working the same field together and share many show credits, just this was probably their 3rd time working together on screen).
As I was saying, Riku-kun is probably more familiar to most, because he’s been taking acting jobs from left to right for the past 6 years.
I really hope casting directors listen to fans because many would like these two to act in another project together. In this drama, their relationship has more a ‘first time experience.’
If they were to act together, I’d like to see them act as a more mature couple, because they both have taken on such roles, especially Riku-kun. Seriously if any of you like BL, check out his acting profile 😉
