Jennie's scenes REMOVED from 'The Idol' after Sam Levinson's take-over!

Jennie’s screen time in the series “The Idol” has been downsized after Sam Levinson (the director of Euphoria) took over and told her to just sit there and look pretty! BLINKs are outraged and more disturbing information about the show came out.

  1. Not surprised at all, considering how most HBO shows are (euphoria, Game of Thrones, the Sopranos). But honestly, did anyone really think that she got hired because of her acting skills?? obviously the show has a bunch of big names just for views. There’s not much acting going on anyways are pretty much playing themselves.

  2. This is EXACTLY what I was worried about. I am happy that Jen gets the opportunity to act in such a big thing. However, the second I heard the news I was kinda worried. Hollywood is the home of disgusting perverts and monster that will take advantage of newbies. I just pray that they nothing too bad happened to her while she was on set, working with these sickening men. These kind of people should NEVER be allowed to come anywhere near women and should NEVER be allowed to work with them. The things I’ve heard are vile. From rape scenes, abusive relationships, cults, mistreatment behind the scenes. I am scared for my girl Jennie. We all know how people already wait for her to get caught up in scandals so they can attack her online and I am scared that this show is going to ruin her reputation.

  3. No euphoria was already crazy as fuck. The way he glorified rape culture is crazy, and the fact that he said this was gonna be more wild than that.? Zendaya better up her price to 3million an episode because that’s insane.

  4. Just remember that The Weeknd was unhappy how it showed the women’s perspective of Hollywood and wanted to change it he has a lot do with the script changing

  5. I don't know what u guys even expected. This is Sam Levinson, the creator of euphoria a show that sexualises teenagers I knew this was gonna be shit from the very beginning

  6. I know Jennie likes to have fun and be wild but I wish she thought hard before accepting the role. This project is going to be very se*ual. If she’s going to sit and look pretty throughout, I’m afraid it might make fetishes for Asian women worse in the US. They might as well erase all of Jennie’s scenes for her and Asian women’s protection 💀

  7. before cutting her scenes he should know the consequences. He literally changed the whole purpose of filming this movie. And for his information he should learn his lesson and know the power of Jennie. He should know that Jennie is the most followed Korean artist, second most followed artist on Instagram, her solo topping both the Gaon Digital Chart and Billboard's World Digital Songs chart, first Korean artist to perform at Coachella, nicknamed human Chanel, and her YouTube Chanel gained one million subscribers in less than seven hours, becoming the fastest channel to do so on the platform. Within 24 hours, she accumulated over 1.75 million subscribers and became the second most subscribed YouTube user within the timeframe, and more. She’s like one of the biggest influencers yet he had the nerve to cut her scenes not knowing her fan base? Literally she has like 70 something million followers on Instagram! He should learn his lessons.

  8. “By The Rolling Stones…” I laughed, picturing 80- year old rock stars making this announcement. I know that you meant “By Rolling Stone” (Magazine), but it was amusing.

And yes, that director is pretty atrocious, and Jennie shouldn’t be involved in a production so crass.

  9. Sam Levinson is a name that I’m weary of. He has fetishes that he tries to put into all his content & he goes too far a lot. Jennie is not the idol I want attached to him at all. I want her to be an actress & the fact that she’s working with the Weeknd is cool. But Sam is lame & weird.

  10. That makes me so freaking angry. All through history in American film and TV, Asian women were cast mostly just to "sit there and look pretty" to be eye candy without much depth. Or to be seductive antagonists. Hardly know anything about this guy but I already wanna punch him in the face 😂

  11. He increased the sexual content and nudity to surpass that of Euphoria? Lmao is that the only things he cares about?! He can create something special and intense without basically making it p*rn – yes, I'll admit the first two teasers already looked pretty sensual and seductive but you could tell that there was a bigger picture and something deeper was tormenting the MC so now it's just gonna be aesthetic p*rn?… Hope Jennie gets to act in a more meaningful project!

  12. Not at all excited for this show the idol their adjustments is looking bad Jennie made me hopeful but even then its worth waiting to see her talent shine in an actual proper show than whatever they scrambled together this time
