Thank you for watching!! I'm really happy with the fact that Kana Hanazawa, who played Yukino sings this beautiful song.
Even for the native Japanese including me, interpreting this song won't be easy. In fact, I found it challenging to translate Japanese lyrics into English because the lyrics are quite obscure and full of implications.
For example, I wrote "Two skies live seperately" in the beginning of the second verse, while others wrote like "Now we live seperately", which shows the ambiguity of Japanese.
Techically, regarding the lyrics above, it is the matter of how we divide words because Japanese sentences are not generally divided by space (I won't explain this because it's going to be a long explanation, sorry).
Anyway, I think both ways seem correct because it's not clear that the subject is explicitly depicted in the lyrics.
Other than this, Japanese songs generally tend not to clarify things like the subject, which makes translation more difficult and makes non-native Japanese people feel confused.

秦基博さんのRainも好きですが、花澤香菜さんの歌うRainも素敵です!言の葉の庭では万葉集の短歌も登場しますが、日本独特の表現を英語に翻訳するのは難しいですよね‥
