An exclusive Women In Motion Talk was held at the 35th Tokyo International Film Festival on October 31, 2022. The Talk featured Palme d’Or Prize winning filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda and Japanese actress Mayu Matsuoka. They discussed the role of women in the Japanese film industry, its challenges and future, from their different perspectives as a director and an actress.
