  2. Exactly. I’ve noticed the same thing for years. His roles are very different from his real personality. In his roles, he can sometimes be extremely cruel, frightening, and mysterious, but in real life, he is a very kind and soft-spoken person.

    I don’t know what trauma he may have experienced during childhood, but after years of research, I’ve realized that, contrary to what fans think, he doesn’t actually enjoy crowded places. He seems to prefer peace and quiet. Everyone thinks he is very extroverted, but he is actually quite shy. When he is around people he feels safe with, he laughs and feels relaxed, but in the presence of others, he becomes more reserved. And his laughter in crowded places is nothing like his genuine laughter.

    And yes, this is nothing but the power of his acting. In one moment, he can be cruel to Secretary Kim, and then, as soon as the director says “cut,” he becomes a kind and caring brother.

    From a psychological perspective, since he is the eldest child in his family, he may unconsciously take on a parental role—somewhat serious, gentle, and protective.

    I just wish all fans would respect his privacy.
