  3. DK should have been qualified for Social Services due to his lack of control of ripping his pants or something that allowed him to see his newborn niece often. He’s clearly upset about that aspect and the fact that he’s so closely bonded daily to the brothers.😢

  4. You have careers in the Military! To assume on the basis of gender that everyone is suited for the service is beyond comprehension! Especially artists. Mandatory conscription should be abolished everywhere and replaced by voluntary one! Not everyone is suited to be a soldier!

  5. That is Korea. This is why they show more respect in their culture (one of them). Don’t westernize that great country by making them wimpy like most Americans. They can and will handle it. They are stronger than us. It’s okay. I admire them immensely.

  6. Let’s honor his feelings. Ofcourse this is hard. He will be away from his family and brothers, from a cozy existence to barracks and times routines and showers and a lot of yelling and physical challenges. Training for the Army is hard, it would be great if another member joined with him for mental support.

    But they have no choice, North Korea is above them that loves to throw threats. The North Korean Army trains everyday, they don’t get off after 18 months. Korean men need to be able to protect their families and the land they live on. DK will have more confidence growing from boy to man. He will learn serious skills and at the very least to defend himself or his family if some deranged saesangs approaches them. It’s a hard right of passage. My wish is for the Army to put them in special military groups that have other K-pop artists in it so they don’t get bullied, extorted for money, beaten up from jealousy etc. I can also see the army wanting to mix them with general population so they don’t create complaint driven prima donnas. But there has to be a balance.
