26. I really don't think that Pledis didn't want to promote him and his solo activities. I think the lack of promotions is because of a business agreement with jun's chinese management. Maybe, just maybe, that chinese management exclusively owns the rights to everything related to his activities in china, limiting what Pledis is allowed to share. Notice we don't get direct notices from Pledis, but we do get vlogs and behind-the-scene footages from jun himself, which are then shared through Seventeen's channel. Also, I stand by what the members say that if they ever feel unsatisfied with something, they will speak up to the company. If Jun feels mistreated, I'm sure he would have spoken up by now.

36. Promoting Chinese members exclusively could posssibly lead to political issues. It is a sensitive move on the company, since China still bans the K-content officially. The fact that both Jun and The8 are still signed with the company and did not take off to China like so many other Chinese k-pop idols show their relationship with their brothers. This is where maturity is demanded so that you can promote your bias but also understand and protect him so that they could continue to work in both countries. Remember, Jun got his platform in China due to his fandom and popularity through his work in Seventeen.
