vernon🩵🩷
Wow his music taste. I also agree about kpop and American pop. I am really missing the kpop era where fully korean and so dope.
I’ll always love Vernon’s take of things. He is incredibly clever
my favorite interview of vernon so far ❤
🥺🥺
So… explain what kpop sounds or element and what makes them different from others if not just the lyrics are Korean?? like how you define kpop in general ?? 💀 K-pop itself is not even a genre & is not original.. even back in the day, tons of the song were inspired by western artists / black ppl. There’s no root nor originality.. How ignorant, 🙄 kpop indeed a western wannabe lol
His military service in 3 day 💔
I love how vernon is honestly
Man i love u 💖
I can listen to vernon talk about music for hours. Like yes, tell me more about music and the songs. I think I like music so it's fun when my fav vernon talks about it
Bonon thanks for all your work and we Love you. Pls stay contract w us even in ur duty. ❤
love his sick music taste ❤️🔥
Have come after watching so many people criticizing him after the westernized kpop part he talked but now I think people should take lil bit time and came here to listen the whole interview on what basis he is talking.
Like seriously!!! People just take few secs to criticize artist.
But I think atleast he is adult enough to give his observation and opinion here and mostly importantly he was asked to 🙂
6:24–7:32 — I genuinely feel like I’m finally being heard, because I’ve been saying this for the past five years. Ever since COVID, something has changed so drastically in K-pop, and I honestly don’t understand why there is such a strong push to make it resemble Western music.
I got into K-pop because of its distinct identity, creativity, and originality. As a fan for almost two decades, it genuinely hurts to see that uniqueness slowly fading. That’s why when Dino (as Pi Cheolin) released the album 'Gillboard', I was so happy. Listening to the music and watching the choreography felt like experiencing the essence of K-pop again—something that felt distinctly Korean and uniquely its own.
I really wish Korean artists would realize that they don’t need to rely so heavily on Western producers, choreographers, directors, or anyone else to make their music “international.” Their own creativity and artistic identity are exactly what made K-pop special in the first place. They don’t need validation from Western award shows either, especially when those institutions often seem more interested in using K-pop idols for attention and views than genuinely recognizing their artistry.
I genuinely miss the originality and individuality that K-pop used to have. I hope SEVENTEEN will always continue creating music with Woozi and Bumzu, and keep working with the choreographers and creative teams who have been part of their identity for so long. I just want K-pop to remain K-pop—not become another version of Western pop.

He explains music very well. I love him so much.
Vernon speaking facts ✨️🙌
i have always love listening to Vernon's thoughts.
I'm surprised Vernon knows ROMANCEPLANET of all imaginable names. Interesting.
BTW, KPOP should start doing more hardstyle, pretty much like A.C.E. did with CACTUS.
this should have more views
I love when vernon talk about music he's so passionate talk bout it ❤❤
real life spiderman imo
I always love Vernon's thoughts!! Like there's always something that amazes me everytime he speaks.. This man is really wonderful❤
K AND DK!!
The guy is getting cancelled for speaking the truth, and there are still people from a certain fandom bothered by his words, even though he didn't even mention their faves.💅
I agree with you Vernon, that kpop is sounding more like american pop.
Will miss you, my bias
Vernon, as a person and as an artist, has always been very genuine and introspective. He's full of substance and doesn't do things because of pressure or for the sake of going along with the trend. Only those who don't know him will slam him for his (harmless) opinion.
Hajimaaa Vernon 🙂↔️👽
I love hearing him talking
He didn’t lie he is right 6:24
it's not like i don't like it!! vernon

The V8 Album was fun to listen to 🙂
The Lmfao at the end lol the first time i heard singasong i felt some similarity.
Tomorrow?!
I really love Kpop and If I compare the songs from then and now. Like what Vernon said, I also want to go back in 2000s or 2011s songs in Kpop. This is real. And thankful I experience 2nd gen I think months before 3rd gen artists debut but now I really appreciate all the songs in Kpop and still fan of them.
Thank you for bringing Vernon and his playlist. Stay healthy and comeback stronger, serve well our Vernon 🩵🩷
