  1. This has to be the first official announcement from TWICE member right? 😯 Cause I remember hearing news of Jihyo, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu leaving JYPE as well but the members still didn’t confirm about those news yet.

  3. 우리 정연이 언제나 행복하길 바라며 영원한 트와이스로서 좋은활동 했으면 합니다. 화이팅!!!

  4. I can see more leaving JYP, which is going to make it difficult to get them all together at the same time. If they do another world tour…you better get tickets as i cant see them having more than a few years left. All good thing come to a end… Now dont quote me but i vaguely recall jihyo saying should would retire from kpop at age 32….but she said that a long time ago, so take it with a grain of salt. Thx for update.

  5. It's a logical direction for her. I could also see her taking on Hosting Jobs and Variety Shows, as she has plenty of experience in those, and has always been great as an overall entertainer.

  6. It's a very wise and absolutely right decision she made. She truly deserves to be in a better position. As a lead vocalist it was so noticable that she has always been mistreated by JYPE. Hopefully now she'll truly get the spotlight she deserves in her new journey ❤❤

  7. I'm actually excited for her and I fully trust and support her decision.💚 I usually just lurk on insta but made a fan account for commenting because of this, gotta show support in times like these as I'm sure this took her a lot of courage. She's so talented and got a lot more to show, and finally she'll be getting more opportunities to show it! Another important part from this is that she's still with TWICE.💚💚💚

  8. From what I know JYP shut down their acting division so it makes sense if she wants to pursue it in a serious way, though I wonder what Dahyun/Sana will do. I'm just hoping whatever solo work they do, Twice doesn't turn into a legacy group that only gets together once a few years for a comeback. But realistically the more agency splits the more they are prioritizing solo work and more difficult to do Twice activities. I would not be surprised if similar announcements are incoming.

  14. Goodluck Jeongyeon! U'll always be TWICE wherever u r.. Fly higher♡
I just hope that it won't be Varo Ent as i don't believe in siblings' equal treatment😅
MiSaMo-Jihyo-Nayeon-Chaeng still have news during the J-T contract discussion. Jeongyeon, Dahyun + Tzuyu are the ones i'm clueless about.

  17. Sitting here in a Starbucks, and I almost choked on my drink. 😅

Glad she’s following dreams, and will continue with TWICE

  18. Great decision for her. Best of both worlds group activities with jyp and solo activities mainly acting with varo.

  20. 이러면 정지채 셋 다 불안한데
    로그에서도 묘하게 셋이랑 여섯이 다니던데

  21. As long as she is member of twice i dont mind in whatever company she wants to work. May she have wonderful career ahead 😊😊

  24. One of the Saddest Days in Kpop. But so Excited for Jeongyeon, What ever she Excels in, Now maybe her Haters
will understand that she is just That Good ……10 years of great memories…..Now it is Time To Make ALL NEW
memories New Friends New Adventures, New Bonds. If One Person can Pull it Off it is Jeongyeon My Forever Idol
    💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

  26. Surprised she’s the first to announced her leaving JYP. But I’m happy she’s doing what’s right for her! I know our girls will always be Twice, they just need more support in their individual careers. Forever Once ❤

  27. She will be an amazing actress she is so freaking funny and hopefully I see her last tour with TWICE one more tour according to Jiyho.

  28. I'm excited for Jeongyeon! I'm sure this must be a bit scary for her, so I look forward to supporting her every step of the way.

  29. They've managed to coordinate solo activities and group activities well thus far and I hope that will continue to be the case as I want to see more music from Twice.

  30. For starters, Jeongyeon can & should do whatever she wants.
However, situations where a member leaves the agency but remains part of the group usually mean very little content featuring the full group.
Just look at examples like Blackpink, Red Velvet, SNSD, or Mamamoo. 😮‍💨

  32. That diet and fitness regime is paying off for sure. She must have a good handle on her metabolic condition.

  37. what makes me so assured about her leaving JYPE is that she is STILL a member of TWICE! 💚
TWICE will always be 9 or nothing!

  41. Happy for her and can’t wait to see her in movies, dramas…many group performers do this and are successful…solo careers with entertainment groups that differ from their group’s entertainment company…no biggie.
