1. It would be better if you listened to the original first and then Ado Ado. Sometimes the vocals change their pitch, at certain points they speed up, change the rhythm, or add something of their own. That's my opinion.

3. In this cover, Ado stayed as close as possible to the original vocal style as a tribute to Akina Nakamori.

4. Think one of the most interesting things about ADO is how good she is in a large kinds on Genres. Akina Nakamori has a more soft and sexy voice. Ado is more spirited and sounds a bit more cheeky!
   It's incredible that you feel thorn between the two versions. Same things happens with me when comparing TK's Unravel or Sheena Ring Crime and Punishment. to ADO's

6. Love Akina Nakamori, discovered her through Ado. I think there is one more cover of hers Ado has done. One with the sidestep dance, even better than the this one. Anyway, when I hear Ado singing a cover with barely any changes, close to the original as much as possible, like she did with covers of Akina’s songs, shows great respect she has for the artist and the song.

7. I found this video very interesting. I was surprised that I actually prefer Akina's version. On the other hand, I like Ado's Jukkai way better than Akina's, maybe because her voice matured and has more depth now.

   Now regarding the voting, Ado's fanbase in Japan is surprisingly diverse age wise.

9. Not a fan of comparing a studio version to someone else's live performance. A live performance is not necessarily "the original".
   That being said, have you ever reacted to any Ado live performances? Other than the First Take, but that's a studio one-take.

   But yeah, the sound engineer and band really captured the 80's sound here. However I'm glad they omitted the (imo) terrible filter on the chorus that's in the original. Some things stayed in the 80's for a reason lol

10. I actually heard this live first then had to wait for her to record it. She performed it for her Mars concerts along side Villain and Unravel.

11. To me, a person who knew the original song in the original time era, the way Akina sang kind of represented a core-strong woman which was relatively new to the society at that time. Girls should be meek and obey to men/ family, such kind of "rules" were still going around, the society considered a easily crying girl as a cute one or one to be protected because of the weakness, although the school taught a gender equality. ADO is in a much later generation, but I think that she still feels such a nonsense so she is relatable to the song well.

12. That was my favorite song when I was young. I'm a big fan of Ado, but I have to say Akina is much better, and I doubt that Ado can sing it live as well as Akina did.
