  7. Hi! Japanese here, who got to record and watch the whole 2 shows on my TV. 🫡😁

    First of all, for extra context, they actually shot the show in Korea on March 20, just a day before the massive BTS combeback concert, btw. The 1st part was a dance battle shown in Japan TV on April 3rd. The idol group, Snowman did it against girl group HANA and a mix of dancers affiliated with LDH, a company which produces girl/boy groups and also trains dancers professionally. That time, Tae and Kookie were called on as guests because the dance battle included Dynamite and 2.0 which the two demonstrated and EVEN danced 6 times with each representative for the dance battles ('chorus part only').

    Now for this video, aired April 17th, was actually shot after the dance battle, a kind of behind the scenes with no crews, just cameras in the room and the boys. The gifts were actually presented to Tae and Kookie one by one in between their conversations with the Snowman members, who chose the gifts without knowing they're for Tae and Kookie because the producers kept it secret. The Snowman group members (6 here, missing 3 members because of prior job schedules clashing) were told each member needed to buy gifts for a global superstar. Some thought it was Psy or maybe Bruno Mars, etc. (the guessing part was funny, too. LOL) (Extra: The 3 Snowman members who weren't here later on were very jealous they couldn't meet Tae and Kookie. 😂)

    So, the 1st gift shown was the neckpillow from Sakuma (signature pink hair and known for his acrobatic, energish dance-style), and he bought it from a famous
    brand because even without knowing who the guest was (they thought it was one person, but actually 2. LOL) as they were told it was a global superstar they must travel a lot. After that, it's the member Abe, (known for being the brainy one in the group, participates in loads of quiz shows on Japan TV) he chose a chic table lamp made from "Washi-paper," also from a famous brand. Tae reacted right away and said he had a similar one but in floor-lamp style. Tae was so excited seeing something he had in his house already, it was sooo cute. Kookie also reacted and kept asking if it was really the exact design lamp he had at his house, and even commented that if he got this gift, they would match. (My TaeGuk fangirl heart was giggling/screaming like a lunatic at this part.) And actually, it was Tae who pointed out the washi-paper design of the lamp and he talked briefly about being particularly interested in interior design, and that he actually studied about it (a course? maybe) for 6-mos in the past. (They even showed parts of his house which he especially picked the interior design/materials.) Next, it was Fukazawa's turn (he's got good communication skills, so he always ends up in an MC role in the group despite not being the leader and he also ends up being cast as MC in some Japan TV shows), he bought a really expensive-looking and rare Japanese green tea, which outwardly looked-like a wine bottle so Tae and Kookie looking confused at first was quite funny and adorable. The 4th gift was presented by Raul (half-Japanese and half-Venezuluan, the "maknae", the tallest, the model and fashionista of the group, he has acually modeled in Paris Collection runways), he was thinking it could be someone with a lot of energy and works out a lot if the person's a global star so he bought a pair of battle ropes without the ropes but serves the same purpose. Kookie and Tae both tried swinging it and said it was pretty heavy. The 5th gifter is Mukai, (half-Japanese, half-Thai, known as the jokester of the group, he gets called on a lot of shows that has comedic themes), he thought the person maybe someone who likes taking pictures when they travel so he bought a camera that prints out the picture in black/white right away. Tae and Kookie took pictures and the visuals are so off the charts. The last gift was from Miyadate(-sama) LOL if you get that Japanese at the end, then you get it, if not just ignore it… (he's known for being "the elegant" one in the group and he likes and is good at cooking). His gift was the slippers made from special Japanese products and very comfy if the global star wants to relax at home.

    The thing here is that out of 6 Tae and Kookie can each only pick one. (Kinda like a competition on Snowman's part on who has the best sense when picking gifts.) Tae got the neckpillow right away and he said it was so convenient because they're about to go on world tour for a year, and he still haven't bought one despite wanting one for some time. (Cue BTS member pics sleeping in weird angles on airplanes. Hope their necks are fine. 😅) Kookie wanted both the lamp and the slippers, but ended up getting the slippers, saying he likes simple and comfy things, and that the slippers looked fashionable enough that he might forget to take it off and then it could turn into outside slippers. 🤣

    When the show was wrapping up, the TaeGuk chaos begins as Kookie tried to take the lamp as well but it was so big it's not as if he could hide it. 😂😂 Tae was smarter, when everyone was focused on Kookie, he actually hid the camera (from Mukai) behind his back, and kept smiling, until someone caught him. 🤣🤣

    That's it. The conversations were really interesting, too. If Japan TV copyright laws weren't so strict I'd like to upload it. LOL 😆😅
