  3. I hope all K-Pop groups are able to get that healthy support for their mental health. It's so important and I'm really glad that Key has taken a chance and got open with his feelings and I'm sure that helps him with his healing. I'm very proud of him.

  9. I really appreciate the way that SHINee members openly talk about this subject which people may see as too sad or taboo to discuss. It is so important to be able to talk about Jonghyun or anyone that you have lost in a candid way that is true to the life they lived as well as the complicated feelings that come with their passing. Grief is not linear so some days you will be just fine talking about it and other it will still feel like an open wound on your heart, but both of those are okay to feel and it's important to de-stigmatize the shame that can come with that. I really feel that it's important to navigate without trying to exploit the pain of those who were close with him, but still being able to talk about his life and art with positive connotations.

  15. They are so wonderfully comfortable with each other. And it makes me smile to see Kpop idols spending time with someone of the opposite sex without fan losing their minds. I don't know what kind of relationship they have and I don't really care. They get along well and seem happy in each other's company. And if they are happy, then so am I. I'm also glad that Key is honest with his feelings. Mental health is important and is something that should be taken seriously.

  19. I love them, I'm a big Taeyeon fan and knowing how close she was to Jonghyun and now that he isn't here, Key and the other members take care of her so well as well as Taeyeon making sure that Key is doing alright. Jonghyun would be happy

  24. in times where i miss jjong so much like tonight, watching kibum talk so openly like this and admitting that its ok to say how badly we want to see him again is so comforting. taeyeon is really great as well knowing how to guide this topic in a way that it did not sound so forced but still acknowledged what happened. its just crazy that the media had them be so uncomfy to express their feelings when in the first place, it’s supposed to be completely fine for us. i love my sm family sm

I have always thought that Key is very smart and sensible, so I expected that he was mature as well, but this shows a high level of emotional intelligence and maturity that not many people have. It's very nice of him to share the wisdom he has gained with shawols. I hope he has discussed this with the members as well.

  28. I remember when the group got upset about talking about Jonghyun after his passing, during an interview. I understood that then and I must admit I am so pleased to hear this taping. I think many fans became concerned after his passing, and that someone else in the group may do the same. It is great that they are able to still speak openly about it with their true feelings. So many Asians say nothing when they are bothered about specifics and I feel it is time then to have a friend or family member to be able to vent to. Key thank you for opening up to the public.

  31. The fact that SHINee still refers to themselves as having five members really warms my heart. They don’t shy away from missing Jonghyun and incorporate his memory in many ways; their music, album art, variety shows, etc. And they preserve his memory so lovingly 🩵

I first got to know about Shinee during their 'Don't Call Me' comeback and being a kpop stan that goes back in time and usually goes through a group's full discography i found out shinee originally had five members. Then I took a liking to their old songs and eventually Jonghyun, then I searched up why he wasn't in the group anymore and that's when I crumbled. He truly is a lovable person and whenever he's being mentioned I always remember his funny and charming personality, his voice that i fell in love with. On top of all that I hope and pray for people to stop rage baiting using his name along with Moonbin and Sully…. They will be missed but I hope everyone can eventually move pass the grief and just remember them in a good way. I also hope to see a change in the kpop industry… nobody deserves what happened to them not even themselves and for the toxic kpop fans that may be a cause to these things I hope they get the reality check they need. Kpop Idols are humans too, they deserve to feel what we feel, they deserve to want things we want, they deserve their privacy and on top of that they deserve to life their life they way they want without having to walk on egg shells because of their own 'fans' or 'supporters'.

    Sorry for this rant but I just feel like this needed to be said…

  35. Taeyeon was also probably thinking of Jessica when Key said it was hard losing their Main Vocal since they’re the most important. Jessica takes the lead in the chorus & backing vocals on most SNSD songs so it was probably a bit difficult for the group to adjust. OT8 sounds VERY different than OT9. I’m not saying she sings more than Taeyeon, but Jessica did provide a certain flavor/timbre to the groups main sound
