  1. Glory to this man 🙏🏻 Sabbath fans didn't like him at first, but his voice and theatrical stage presence eventually charmed them like knights in a medieval joust.

  2. Ronnie James Dio, the legendary heavy metal singer, died of stomach cancer on May 16, 2010, at the age of 67.

Dio was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer in November 2009. He underwent treatment, including chemotherapy and surgery, but the cancer had spread too widely. Dio continued to perform and tour as much as possible despite his illness.

In his final months, Dio established the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund to raise awareness and support research into stomach and other cancers. The fund continues to operate today, providing grants to cancer research organizations and supporting cancer patients.

Dio's legacy lives on through his music and his fight against cancer. He is remembered as one of the greatest heavy metal singers of all time, and his courage and determination in the face of adversity continue to inspire fans and cancer survivors around the world.

  3. I suspect Dio was murdered by doctors at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Anyone else suspect this. I interacted with DIO in 1996 in Worcester Mass at the Palladium when I was studying electrical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute WPI

  4. The BEST VOICE of….every kind of music !!! R.J. DIO was a : Tenor. Melodic and raspy. Roaring. Hard and sweet. He could sing anything. Any song, in any key. In a word: AMAZING.❤ I saw him only two times : in Modena 1987 and in Rome in june 2000.I will never forget you Ronnie.
