  10. It's interesting hearing another perspective about wisdom teeth. In the US, it's very routine to get them pulled as a teenager or in your 20s. Most everyone have it done, so we don't think much of it, I guess. They can be quite painful otherwise. Mine would give me headaches before I finally got them out. No anesthesia– just basic numbing, badabing, badaboom. I didn't realize it's not customary everywhere.
