He's a human. Even if he has that 'prince' image, i'd say he's completely allowed to be annoyed with the interpreter. He's allowed to be angry, annoyed, irritated, happy, sad, excited, just like us…we dont have the right to control him or judge him just because he's showing his anger. If I was someone as famous as him, I'd do the same. Not exactly. considering how easily I get angry, I'd react WORST. interpreters are CRAZY annoying.
Damn people aren’t allowed to be irritated now 😭??
Bo Gum is one of the kindest Korean entertainers there is. The way the Korean fan base behaves is really shocking. They truly believe they should have total control over their entertainers lives. Leave him alone. He got frustrated and you’re stirring the pot to cause trouble.
He is human
When people are nice and kind don't take them for granted.
He is entitled to a bad day That doesn't define him.
You 'fans' are tarnishing his reputation for this??? Your personal lives must be abysmal 😂
There is something going on in China with an escalation of bad behaviour towards visiting foreign idols and celebrities to how Chinese fans behave badly in other countries towards idols and celebrities. They are also behaving badly as tourists, being verbally abusive, defecating in the street and damaging property. What is going on?
I wonder if the reaction would be the same if a female idol did this
What happened?
He’s clearly been racist
He is right in protecting his inner peace. We are all humans. We all have times when we feel frustrated.
Uhm…even ''gentle princes'' have bad days…bffr….
Why did he move like gay?
Why is there debate? I’m surprised some of these Korean celebrities rarely crash out because of the crazy fans!
Actors/celebrities are foremost normal human beings. They have good and bad days. At first when I had seen this part of him telling her off, I felt it too. Never seen him lose his cool this way. I felt like, wait is this real or am I imagining this? Does this mean PBG isn't who I think he is? THANK GOODNESS I SNAPPED OUT OF THE SPIRAL.
Bogum is a human, and an extremely kind one – something definitely ticked him off that day. I wasn't there, I didn't see what happened but I felt from the videos that his energy was off. Now I realize it was an interpreter issue. He has EVERY right to be annoyed and frustrated and despite that he told her off calmly. It was a bit odd, when he clearly wanted to talk to the audience in Korean and asked her not to talk and not to translate (which she could have guessed), he asked her politely once to not translate. When she did it again in the next sentence, obviously it was a moment of uhh I asked you to not translate. His annoyance was visible but his words were still polite. Even his sentence – if I need help I will tell you, was firm but polite and very well handled, now knowing there was some issue going on throughout. SO NO PARK BO GUM WAS NOT RUDE AND EVEN IF HE WAS, HE IS ALLOWED TO LOSE HIS COOL ONCE IN HIS CAREER OF MORE THAN A DECADE. This is not about being professional and having high standards – even if one has high standards they can still be forgiving of others – gwenchanayo is one of his most common words to everyone. So if he lost his cool, something must have been way off.
I finally want to say, the interpreter may have been having an off day, or was new and not ready for the role, or who knows what? We don't know what she might have been going through that led to incompetence on that day. So while bogum is justified, let's not continue to bash her please. We don't know what happened on the inside.
This video is completely unnecessary and adds to avoidable stress and mental health issues for the stars, fans, and the staff.
I'm another human, with feelings and opinions, and not an organization trying to protect or defend anyone.
If he understands English and Korean, and was annoyed with the interpretations, I'd say the interpreter was up to no good and he wasn't having any of it. Good for him. And what's up with 'fans' thinking anger or annoyance makes a person bad? Guess that's just their culture because if they're not insulting someone, cursing at someone, yelling and calling them derogatory names -they're being nice about you being a jerk. At least in the land I, and many others, live in.
This confirms that he's human after all.. Give him a break..❤
I find the way this is characterized so odd! "Loses his cool", people acting like he lashed out or something, when all he did was calmly and IMO very respectfully ask the translator — who was apparently not doing the job to his satisfaction — to please stop translating. Then he did it himself by speaking both languages for fans. There is literally not one single thing wrong in this entire sequence, but somehow it's a "debate" about his behavior among fans. Why? And then acting like his "gentle prince" image is his entire personality. As others have said, the man is human. He has emotions like everyone else, including frustration. It doesn't make him less of a nice person, especially given that he actually handled this very calmly and kept his focus on the fans' experience.
A prince, a kind and gorgeous man with a golden heart, a pure beautiful soul CAN GET ANGRY, he is f human. And I'm glad he stablished his limits. I wish he have done the same in Mexico, where old disgusting pigs where molesting him
People are allowed to be annoyed and angry, this is not as a big deal as the title makes it out to be
I agree with Park Bo Gum. He's human. He's not a perfect robot actor. We love Bogummy even if he gets annoyed, because he had every right to be. The problem wasn't his behavior, it was the translators behavior.
Quieren fama y en algún momento ya no la quieren, así son estos dioses
He was not being rude. I saw Be With You in Singapore, and it was exactly the same. There is a part of the show where he tries to connect with his fans and demonstrate that, despite language and cultural differences, they can still communicate with one another. He also highlights how fans are able to understand his Korean, which he finds amazing. Again, this is part of the show’s script. This context is repeatedly expressed in the whole show's concept, where Park Bo Gum meets people of different nationalities in different countries, yet he wants to show that it does not get in the way of "being with each other". People should not try to exaggerate and find meaning in small things and gestures. One must know the context.
Whoever called him rude….go find you another idol. Its HIS fan sign he can say and do what he want 🙄😮💨
Means he is human !
ワガママやん
Celebs, actors, singers and idols are people too. Bukans ar enotmeprdect. Fans are extremely toxic and tho they are the reason they rose to fame, they are also the same ruining their lives and their careers because they are extremely entitled, unreasonable and expects perfection in terms of morality and behavior which is insane. Of course they can then snap and become irritated and annoyed.
Another fake good guy.. Nothing new.. Only Jo Insung's group of friends are the only sure-fire kind and humble celebrities.. Others are debatable
How can people blame him when they don't even know what the interpreter did!? If we don't have all the facts, it's best we don't comment.
✨Park Bo-gum is a professional, respect for others and hard working with a strong work ethic. Industry insiders alike praise his good nature.👍👍👍🫶
Heeey Taek…Reply 1988 😊 My first Kdrama
When you get too famous you develop a god complex.
Crazy people
Park Bo Gum someone that always look really sweet, respect people, always gentle and smile to everyone and suddenly he lose his cool, he not going to lose his cool If he doesn't feel uncomfortable and he just human that have patience but you dare to make him mad
Why do people have to sounds so righteous.. these Actors are just people with jobs who work so hard not just at their profession but to be forced put on such squeaky clean personas just for their fans and the public.. it's ridiculous to hold them to such a higher standard and criticize so much more than any CEO .. Billionaire or President. They are human they have feelings emotions and bleed inside n out just like every one in God's Green Earth. Hate in your heart will consume you so to all my favorite Korean Actors keep being humble and talk to your loyal fans who will support you whenever you need them. Fans from ALL over the Globe! Getting upset angered and annoyed doesn't make you different it makes you human ✌🏼❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍
Does kindness mean unconditional tolerance for others' mistakes? Park Bo-gum is a professional at his job and does his best to create the best fan meeting. But if the interpretation isn't perfect, it's understandable that he'd be more upset than anyone else.
You would have to know what the interpreter was saying obviously they were not interpreting what he was saying correctly, and actually I quite believe that because some of the translations and subtitles are really very poor especially in this day and age when technology should aid translation. As he is known to speak very good English he would know if the inerpretation was incorrect and it may well be that he had already spoken to them privately and they carried on mistranslating hence this situation………..
About time. I have more respect now for this young man. Enough is enough.
Give our friend a break. It was an interpreter malfunction, that is all. He didn’t have time to stop the show and try to train her or fix the problem. He took his earpiece out signaling “I have a problem here” – and she should have stopped interpreting there until his staff found out the issue. Certified interpreters know this. The client takes the lead and we must take the cues from the client. She continued to interpret incorrectly, so he had to directly ask her to please stop unless he needed it. Very normal.
I dont get the text why acted like that. Can anyone tell?
Hes a kpop guy? Or why are they freaking out over him?
Sassy👎
Critiquer son comportement ? 😡 J’aurais fait comme lui !!!
If you piss off park bogum, you are at fault
Just so sad to see people scrutinising and blowing things out of proportion for stars who spend their lives building their reputation but by bit with hard work and dedication and being in the spotlight at all times… Sad that all great artists get pulled down by gossip and media just for clicks and advertisements on negative news… Sad that people can’t let talent shine peacefully…
Park Bogum who i call precious gem he is a very patient person he is kind and generous but remember he is a imperfect humanand besides he committed no crime precious gem is entitled to his emotions so people with a gentle natureget upset too we need to stop trying to judge others and those who believe in Almighty GOD remember he became upset and his son jesus christ did too so park bogum is a human being too Park bogum i need to contact you i was using someone else tablet i have my own now iyour fan has unfinished business with you please respond .😊
