  1. Let’s face it, the outliers of the community aren’t fans but just people who wish to keep their celebrities to be perfect icons for them to just look and be perfect with nothing that can tarnish their rose-colored view of them. Unfortunately, they are the ones that control the Asian celebrity world especially pop idols because they are the ones that scream and throw the loudest tantrums on the media. Heaven help that an idol is dating or friends with someone or even has an – God forbid! – opinion that particular group doesn’t agree with then they should be hated and insulted to hell and gone. How dare does these idols live their own lives and have feelings and insecurities that go against their own ideal idol should experience! How dare these idols not have the perfect body and not always smile and be happy regardless of all the pressure and worries of their job and life demands of them! How dare they act like normal human beings with faults and all! How dare they have a life outside of what they expect and believe these idols should live! And, how dare these idols get justifiably angry when the media and the toxic public nitpicks, criticize, and invade their privacy as if it’s the public’s business to know every detail of their lives! It doesn’t help the companies bend over for these types of people and imprison these people by restricting everything about them from dating, going out with friends, eating, and who knows what else. It’s practically slavery and it’s horrible.

Sadly, it doesn’t matter if the actual fandom are a healthy group who understands that celebrities are people too, who are entitled to their own lives off camera without scrutiny. They deserve to have vacations and breaks throughout the year and to be able to have a safe place to simply relax behind cameras without worrying about public image. They are so stressed and have so much pressure placed upon them, it doesn’t surprise me that they drink and even party to release that stress. Having to keep up with the constant demands of the job with barely any them time even when they go out on heir time off, they have to maintain an image or otherwise someone will get butthurt that the idol just wants to be left alone. I don’t blame celebrities of any country for being rude to the public when they are simply trying to enjoy their day off. Who wants to be bothered with work related stuff constantly when you finally get some time off?

It’s a shame that idols have to hold back so much because of the fear of public image being destroyed or when they are doing what’s best for their own state of health so they gain weight or they don’t look as attractive or whatever. The public has this unhealthy feeling of entitlement from celebrities that they owe us more than deserved. They only owe us their music and dance choreography nothing else. They don’t have to chat with fans online or even do little projects. K-pop idols especially go well over the amount of what fans should expect from their idols. Unfortunately, it’s such a thankless job but idols do so much more for their fans than people understand and realize. It’s a shame that they are so harshly judged and hated on just because of the enormous amount of negativity thrust upon them by jealous people.

And,I wish the idols would be more willing to be honest with their feelings because the public expects them to only take the hate and abuse while just smiling and being perfect.
