Absolutely an example of the best written, best musicianship, best produced music ever. If you don't know Wendy & Lisa they are of Prince fame, under their name. Absolutely some of the best rock to be published, they are Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman. I simply cannot say enough about the immense song writing and musicianship of this duo. They went into music for film and television and have won an Emmy Award, I think because they were never properly promoted by their label. If you want to hear some of the most simply beautiful music ever to be recorded.
WOW The composition of this track is blowing my mind. Wendy & Lisa your writing skills are Amazing. This kind of music inspires the listener to want to play all parts of this song. Music of today is missing this energy 100%
Wait! Something about this song has a Jesse Johnson funk edge to it. I may be wrong but Jesse Johnson signatures all on this. Maybe he inspired them as well.
Who's playing bass on this cut? SLAMMIN'!!!!
After all these yrs this numbers still hot n funky
It was good to see the twins together, talent X 2
I had this entire album on repeat when it first came out. Loved it so much! Didn't even realize there was a video until right now. So much talent.
Greetings: As in many talents, these ladies went unnoticed and not awarded of their talents. Such a shame. Not a day goes by 1 of their songs is not playing in my head. 2 think I nearly worked with them and missed the chance. Oh well. Thx ladies. U R NOT 4gotten and definitely appreciated.
sure sounds Princy but why shouldn't it
Does anyone know what type of bass this is, I would love to own one? Thanks

Isn’t Susannah singing on this album🤔
Not even gay, but Wendy was my celebrity crush in the 80s. ❤️❤️ So damn talented, and fine AF.
Cold blooded song,
No this sounds like a Prince beat. Wendy she trying to sound like him.
so funky.
The pretending to be heterosexual thing is weird.
As much as I really like Wendy she's amazingly talented she never really found her own style. She's just imitating prince here. While really good it just feels artificial.
I still like Diet coke but we all know it's not real sugar.
“Everyday “ is another gem from this album. 🌈🍎
These ladies are awesome artists ❤❤❤
Totally awesome 😎 dude
Everytime Wendy & Lisa do something good…Prince always comes from outta nowhere and snatches it !!!
Number one..Can anyone say "The Dance Electric" by Andre Cymone? "Are You My Baby?" is highly most likely a Camille throwaway that P gave them back in 86 that originally had Brown Mark on the bass guitar and they were smart enough to keep the bass track intact..There is NO way that's Wendy playing bass on this song..I don't care what the liner notes says..That's Mark on the bass..That's HIS sound and that's HIS feel..Can anyone say "God Love Theme"? Sheila's not credited on playing the drums on that track but she IS playing drums on that track..I hope ya'll didn't think that was Prince on the drums? Number two..Their visual image during this album is straight P's Sign of the Times image that P used for Sheila and Cat..Specifically, the hair..Sheila and Cat replaced Lisa and Wendy visually so Lisa and Wendy bit off of their two replacements..Wendy didn't even want her sister in The Revolution but since it was known that P was dating and engaged to her sister, then Wendy adds her sister in their band..Like Billy used to say "This a business"..
Prince lite
And without Prince…..this went where?
That has to be Wendy’s twin sister singin background.
