“Kim Minju chose to be an actress despite continuous love calls from major music agencies.”

I support her in every path she choose :)) She and Hyewon are literally my safe places T T I’ve never seen someone as hardworking as her and I really admire her how polite, nice, pretty, talented she is ^^

  1. She rejected hybe's offer to pursue her dream as an actress and she probably want izone to be her first and last group.

  2. Minju is my bias in izone 2 of them which is wonyoung and minju since now im said how chayeon became soloist and other became actress and chaeyeon and sakura debuted on le sserafim and wonyoung and yujin debuted on ive…

Guys the rumors said eunbi { soloist /former izone } debuted on bp which is not true!

  3. Actors get paid regularly and have consistent work for long periods of time. Being an idol is living on a financial gamble 100% of the time. Also the hours working as an idol have got to be even more grueling than acting, there's never a break, ever. It's really disappointing for all us stans to not get to see her dance, but it's understandable.

  4. The reality is being an idol is a double-edged sword. True she would've shined in HYBE but she would also be locked into a 5+ year contract where her every move is monitored and she has to follow rules, not date, and not be able to pursue opportunities because EVERYTHING has to be approved by the company. I don't know about y'all but most mid-late 20 year olds want freedom and not being told what they can/can't do. She would have to always micro-manage her diet, image, love life, friend group, the list goes on

  5. Honestly a stupid decision, she could've been in a big group and than later on debut as an actress.

Look at Joy, she sucks but since she is from a big group, she gets casted for main roles.

  6. I mean I get it that she has lots of sentiments attached to izone , so she wanted Izone to be her first and last group, but career wise she would have made a better decision if shw would have continued to be an idol, just last year, Korean research organizations published an article which stated that the most popular idols are paid 10 times more than most popular actors, the royalties is very high for these kpop songs and concert ticket prices too, on top of that a company like Hybe where people are dying to go to because not only are you paid well , but also treated well, she would have made quite a fortune, on the other hand , she barely lands eye catching rolls as there are actors much suited and popular than her in these rolls , the entire korean acting industry goes on strikes every now and then and to top off everything, Female entertainers in Korea are always paid less than there male counterparts, but this is evident in other industries too, she does most of Aespa's and Lesserafim's Challenges most of the time, she could have fared much well as an idol. But at the end of the day it's her life, whatever she wants

  7. Honestly, peps shouldnt even be mad at her. It is her own choice after all and she knows Kpop Idols are overworked, she probably wanted Iz*one to be her last group and just chill and stay away from the Kpop Industry. I could def see her in Le Sserafim with Sakura and Chaewon, it would've been so cool since theyre the least people you'd expect to fit a strong concept. Shes doing well now though. Thats what matters

  8. If she kept up as an idol and got into one of the big trending groups, I think she would've been the most popular member.
