  1. Don't mean to be ignorant here, but I'm surprised these concert pianists at this major competitive event don't have printed music in front of them 😮 … always thought that classical musicians would crash after several bars w/o the sheet music in front of them 😅… watching these performances has really woken me up to the beauty, and intensity, and an entire range of live acoustic sound with such perfect instrumentation… and performers working together to create a moment of time greater than the sum of its parts

  2. When i saw the competition, i was sure he won, him and Yunchan Lim can be the best future competitors for the next Chopin’s competition💐🌸👍🌹🙏

  6. bravo
    Kevin Chen!!

In the blink of an eye the royal blue aurora was swept away The hazy white night I forgot what I was going to say I got lost I turned and looked at the footprints that left a desolate landscape I want to be the last passerby I don't need a helping hand Like in a dream, In the process of searching for memory, the landscape inside is gradually forgotten. It's time to close your eyes across the fields and follow the bells north. You heard an unknown voice on the shore of the blue lake. I took the pen heavily and redrew it on a piece of white paper. I start taking pictures again, I cross again the sun that never sets

  8. One has already heard the like scores of times. Nice, for sure, but what’s so new and remarkable about him ? 🤔🤔😕 Kissin could do that at age 11 !!

  9. He was known as a child protégé at the age of 7 and has composed 100 symphonies. An amazing musical genius!!!

  10. Congratulations to Kevin. Now he needs to learn composure of the type exhibited by the musicians of the wonderful Suisse Ramonde Orchestra!! That means no facial gyrations.

  11. Blessed Child; Gifted with an Enlightened Talent and a guided and protected Soul, which Musicological depth stands uneqivocally ahead of his age, and which geniality is unlikely to ever become derailed by his senses that are perfectly guided, trough his mind's algorithms.

  12. sorry…, but in my opinion this performance is quite standard. Of course splendid for his age, but nothing really special

  13. I love this pianist. Every single detail is somehow new. One of the best Chopin concerto no.1 ever for me.

  14. I was there at the Victoria Hall when he performed, i was part of the young student's prize and we gave it to him of course. The second movement made me cry sooooo much❤️

  15. THAT was the ovation you deserved at the RUBINSTEIN Competition but did not get for some STRANGE reason I cannot understand!
