Ian Clarke (1964–) is a British flutist and composer. He is a professor of flute at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. This piece, Maya, is written for two flutes and piano. Based on an early work ‘Passage’ 1986 (Clarke/Hicks/Painter) it was rewritten & arranged by Ian Clarke in its current form in 2000 with first publication in 2001. Clarke has more music for flute (flute solo, multiple flutes, flute and piano…).

  1. It’s so lovely by Ian Clarke! That reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy 1 and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii and some of their galaxies such as Cosmic Cove and many others that have soft music playing.

  2. I am crying.. tomorrow is my last performance in highschool and I'm playing Hypnosis by Ian Clarke. This composer is so special for me, every piece made by him is absolutely heart trembling
