Finally, a mystery-fantasy horror sageuk is coming our way! “The East Palace”, starring Nam Joohyuk and Roh Yoonseo, premieres on July 17.
Even though it has a dark theme, Joohyuk and Yoonseo are totally giving rom-com couple vibes in real life. Just look at them when they appeared on Moon Sang-hoon’s BDNS show!
There’s Joohyuk’s cute little pat-pat after high-five with Yoonseo. And the way he calls her “Yoonseo-ya” while she calls him “Oppa” is just too adorable.
MC Sanghoon suddenly turning into a matchmaker was hilarious, he straight-up asked, “Do you two have a crush on each other?” Then he asked Yoonseo the same question again because she seemed to be waiting for Joohyuk’s answer first before giving hers.
And Roh Yoonseo’s expression when Nam Joohyuk said, “We didn’t even match in our past lives,” absolutely took me out. This is just a joke, guys—the whole concept of the show is meant to be a satirical and awkward interview.
