I believe that twice will stay as 9, during their tour they said that they will come back over and over again. I think some may look into other options for solo activities, or in general are stricter with the contract terms, but that they wanna stay together as a group. They're in a powerful position where they can demand a lot of the company

Not only was it way longer than a tour should be(by now I think almost over a year) but also several members were injured or sick.. which yes, is normal during a tour to have a member sick, but not the way they were injured and sick. They're overworked 🙁

Nah. Back then disbandment was almost always the case. But kpop nowadays don't ever have to disband anymore. At least for the popular ones. Companies are so much more flexible than they used to be. Having group activities while the members are in different companies was unheard of but today it's pretty common practice.
I just hope they all do what's best for themselves, whatever the outcome is I support their choices

I would be very happy if Jeongyeon chooses to stay but I also understand if she doesn’t renew. Her health during her time in Twice has often caused her to take breaks, and if she needs to step out of the company to focus on herself, that is fine

Simple answer JYPE handles Idols, Varo handles actors. Jeongyeon want's to expand into becoming an actor as well as an Idol, so the smart move is to have a company that deals with actors needs AND a company to deal with her Idol needs. I trust both companies will work together to make moves that help all three of them. OT9 FOREVER (TIMELESS).
Some of this comments are really selfish. The girls have been active for 11 years, they need rests bigger than just 1 to 2 weeks. If they want to disband that is THEIR decision.
They should all leave YGP and a better management company that can pay them what they deserve.

I’m honestly not worried at all. If the members want to branch out and do other projects, they’d most likely sign with other agencies but still be with TWICE. For example, what Jeongyeon wants to do will not affect her contract with TWICE. I hope people understand this and stop fear mongering lol TWICE will still be with us

I’m hoping it’s just an acting contract and not her leaving. I can’t imagine Twice without any of the members, but especially not without my bias. Obviously I don’t know them personally, but I can honestly say they feel like a family, so I’m hoping we get a repeat of the last renewal and more years of great music by these talented women!
