  2. Soulmate is total heteronormative. We only get an "I love you" when the character is on the verge of death. No touching, no kissing, no affection, no intimacy. Absolutely hygienic and palatable. (Perfect for straight actors taking advantage of the queer audience). Lesson? Never trust series promotions or tags. And never trust the director of More Than Words, the most homophobic series in history.

    Especially the scene where Ryu goes to rescue Johan when he’s at the absolute rock bottom of his life—that part was such a tear-jerker.😢
