[MEOVV THE 2nd EP ALBUM “BITE NOW”]

Following the signal flare of MEOVV’s unique musical world launched with their first EP album, [MY EYES OPEN VVIDE], [BITE NOW] elevates and unfolds it in earnest. In this album, instead of catching their breath with cautious steps and waiting for the right moment, they showcase a leap forward, presenting a new paradigm on their own timing.

The title track, “DDI RO RI,” which reinterprets Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor,” instantly heightens the track’s tension right from the intro. The magnificent and splendid impression of the organ inherent in classical music meets “Ddi-ro-ri”—a modern intuitive expression used for dramatic situations—drawing out a powerful catharsis through this unique contrast.

By adding MEOVV’s distinctive musical colors to the sample of Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor,” the track allows classic and fresh elements to coexist. Armed with an unrivaled presence, they create a gripping tension from the moment they appear, making it impossible to look away, and unleash an instinctive and intense wildness.

バッハの「トッカータとフーガ ニ短調」を再解釈したタイトル曲「띠로리 (DDI RO RI)」は、イントロから一気に楽曲の緊張感を引き上げる。クラシック音楽が持つオルガンの壮大で華やかな印象は、今日において劇的な状況を直感的に表現する「ティロリ」という言葉と結びつき、独特なコントラストを通じて強いカタルシスを引き出す。
