Himari play beautifully ❤❤❤ the pieces she played likely pieces floating on space soft and evenly. Not harsh.
🇸🇰 Rey nemá japonskú krv. Navyše dnešná Amerika vyrába iba lacnú show, kdežto Japonsko si potrpí na svojich kultúrnych tradíciách 🤗. Himari keď dospeje a bude v kategórii seniorov, obrazne povedané vyfliaska Reya s ktorúkoľvek skladbou. ✊
Have you played this passage? It is so much fun. Quite like a standard exercise by Rode or Viotti, imported into a piece with so much Ernst or Paganini sizzling pyrotechnics throughout the rest of the concerto. That said, how about 2 13 year olds, Perlman at Galamian's Meadowmount program, and Himari, the same age, 13. One aspect the age doesn't capture– Lots of these super virtuosos have all their technique by 16, as Heifetz had when he debuted at Carnegie, declared the greatest living violinist. So, if you start at 3, you already have 10 years in a professional milieu. Attorneys, doctors, engineers, really start their professional study at college, so the age is not comparable to other professions. In fact, my former teacher Aaron Rosand used to envy how easy pieces like this were for him when he was 14, and how you feared competing with your younger un-self-conscious self, for whom it all came so naturally!
Himari was better
Even the chords near the end are crystal clear in Himari's playing. Amazing
Suono più pulito di Himari. Mr. Chen picchia quel povero violino
J'écoute Himari pendant des heures avec un bonheur infini, Ray Chen, même pas 5 minutes, je suis désolée pour lui.
I love himari though ray's seems way more passionate which I think himari lacks simply because of her age. Dont get me wrong himari is an insane violinist.
Welcome to the music industry my friends ! Comparing an adult world class soloist with a 13 year old middle schooler.
Pretty sure once Himari hit her mid adulthood, her performance is gonna sounds a lot more like Ray's.
У них стиль игры разный. Himari играет мягче, поэтому ее приятней слушать. А Ray слишком резкий и это портит впечатление.
Himari is the best!

they're both fantastic, you even can't imagine how dificult that is, it is just pure respect for the ones that can do that. No hate to Ray! you can't play it so… Come talk when you can play it.
This piece was written by Wieniawski when he was 18! It's incredible that a modern genius is playing such a dramatic and magnificent piece by a genius. I'm so grateful to be able to hear it. Ray is powerful and passionate, while Himari is delicate and evocative…
Por alguna razón se ve más difícil cuando toca el hombre 😅
She is so much more efficient with her movements making the sounds come out effortlessly!
Ray Chen's variations of dynamics is crazy. Himari's is super clean. I like the crazier version. My vote is for Ray Chen.
stupid question
Himari is clear in tone, pitch, passages, and expression. I also like Ray's performance, but my preference is Himari.

Perfection is not the goal of music.
