  5. I think it shows the evolution of itzy. How their concept has changed throughout the years, and have landed here. A walk down memory lane.

    For me, each room represents a song with a different vibe from eachother. Showing itzy's diversity.

    And to relate it to the song Motto, it shows their original concept. The concept which is the foundation that is the base of each song, how they dont change: how they continue on their own path despite what others say, how they dont care about being dofferent. I think this is the song, along with tnvs that best represents itzy's concept.

    I went off track. Anyways, how it relates is that Motto is a song that shows that we trust in those who genuinely believe in us, and that we continue our own journey with their pure support (at least what I think). So the rooms represents itzy, and we are the "you" in Motto.

    The rooms represent how itzy has changed and evolved with different concepts. And despite the hate, itzy has made it this far with us.

    That is what I think from a surface level. And I woulsnt think that JYPE would make itzy target haters directly.

    But I also think that the rooms is a direct way of saying, "Look at us. Dalla Dalla, Not Shy, Sneakers, Cake, Tunnel Vision. You have hated ua for our continuous 'change' in conceptm but we've made it this far, up to Motto. Okay now lets focus on midzy."

    That is how o see it anyways.

  11. Imo almost all itzy music where they sing "to you" is about Midzy. So I think these references are also a form of thankyou for midzys that never left their side, and the music say smt on the lines of "midzy are our motto so we'll keep going no matter what"

    But I also think there are other theories that make sense here in the comments

  21. Your guess is good as any and is equally important as anyone’s. The five scenes definitely match back to those five different MVs, whether they denote phases hated by some, adored by some, or no reaction by some….this fan video sparks a reminder of their and our journey with this hard working group. For me…their Motto is continue working hard and powering through life regardless of what people think. At least that’s how it resonates with me. To each their own….

  23. It's a walk down of memories, the evolution of them being a group but the core, represented by the white castle is always ITZY.

    In home scene, you can see how ITZY relax and show calendars with number 12, which is their debut date. Means ITZY never change their core.

    Also the jelly fish IMO represents resilience abd them changes in "appearance". Jelly fish is the greatest survival creatures in the ocean. They look delicates but they are highly adaptive. But in the end, in home scene shows, ITZY will always be ITZY..

  27. It's the eras with the most hate. During the last chorus the painting has alot of references of their loved eras (sneakers is on both 😭😭) so like my theory is that it shows that even if they have hated songs they also have loved songs and as the MV goes on they slowly realise that instead of focusing on the hate, they should focuz on the loved

  30. since this is their first comeback after the 7-year contract period, it’s paying homage. however given the song’s lyrical theme of falling in love with someone/something to the point where you develop a sincere and deep attachment and nothing else matters, i think you could argue it’s also their way of saying they’re people with passion for what they do and who they love, and others’ opinions will never prevail over them..either way the motto ep will go on to be a statement piece for sure

  35. Yeah ,seems a lot reference to the previous past songs.And last one was a white place ,like a white sheet ready to be written? (Nvm the last one is the current one). For me first I seen these the escalator staircases seemed familiar,the rest just passed by,but now I recognize all.
