    About 90% of what I’ve heard is fact, and 10% is rumor. Whether you believe it or not is up to you. I’m only posting this here because I couldn’t keep it inside anymore. I hope this reaches everyone who loves Heeseung. First of all, it is true that Heeseung wanted to release a solo song and that meetings were held for this. However, he wanted to do this as a member of ENHYPEN. To repeat: he wanted to release a solo album while remaining a part of the group, just as other idols do. He was removed from the group entirely by the company’s (CIO/Management) decision, not by his own choice. Management is planning concert tours, an album, and collaborations for ENHYPEN. Naturally, they didn’t tell Heeseung the full truth at first. They told him he should work on his solo album and that he could release it while still being a member under the group’s name. Unaware of what was actually happening, Heeseung started working on songs for his solo album while simultaneously working for the group. He was even giving spoilers to ENGENE. However, after a few spoilers were released and discussed for days, management became uneasy. They feared Heeseung’s solo career might overshadow ENHYPEN’s career and were concerned about the large gap in the amounts they would have to pay out. Consequently, they asked him to debut as a solo artist (leaving the group). Heeseung firmly rejected this, stating he would never leave his group and always wanted to remain a part of ENHYPEN. They told him they would discuss the matter later, but several secret meetings were held without him. A few weeks ago, a manager asked him if he would debut solo under ENHYPEN and questioned whether they would renew their contracts next year. Originally, the ENHYPEN members hadn’t thought much about contract renewals, but due to their success last year, they decided to stay together and renew. I heard they were made to sign the contracts last month (this part is a rumor). If that’s true, they told Heeseung that if he wanted to debut solo while remaining a member, he had to sign a few more documents. About 8–9 days ago, they reportedly had him sign documents that effectively removed him from the group and moved him to a solo contract without his full knowledge of the contents. Essentially, they secretly terminated his group contract and replaced it with a solo one. This allowed them to move up his late-autumn album release to profit more from him as a soloist sooner. Heeseung and the other members found out about this the week before the announcement and, understandably, caused a scene, asking how they could do such a thing. A member of the group had been removed without even knowing it himself. As things progressed, the day before the announcement, they told Heeseung: ‘Either you stay here and debut solo, or you pay the compensation for the group you are no longer a part of and leave.’ In short, they threatened him with termination. The other members reportedly couldn’t speak up because they had already signed their contracts (as I said, I’m not certain about this part, but those are the rumors within the company). What I’m trying to say is that Heeseung did not leave by choice; he was kicked out of the group without knowledge. I hope this information helps.
