  1. When there's lightning, you know it always brings me down
'Cause it's free and I see that it's me
    Who's lost and never found
I cry out for magic, I feel it dancing in the light
It was cold, I lost my hold
To the shadows of the night

No sign of the morning coming
You've been left on your own
Like a rainbow in the dark
    A rainbow in the dark

Do your demons, do they ever let you go?
When you've tried, do they hide, deep inside
Is it someone that you know
You're just a picture, you're an image caught in time
    We're a lie, you and I
    We're words without a rhyme

There's no sign of the morning coming
You've been left on your own
Like a rainbow in the dark
Just a rainbow in the dark, yeah

When I see lightning, you know it always brings me down
'Cause it's free and I see that it's me
    Who's lost and never found
Feel the magic, I feel it floating in the air
But it's fear, and you'll hear
    It calling you beware

    Look out
There's no sight of the morning coming
There's no sight of the day
You've been left on your own
    Like a rainbow
Like a rainbow in the dark, yeah
You're a rainbow in the dark
Just a rainbow in the dark
    No sign of the morning
You're a rainbow in the dark

  2. And ridiculously not in the Rock HOF however Janet Jackson, Madonna and LL Cool J have been inducted. Now thats a crime.

  3. Such great memories of Ronnie James Dio and his own band from years ago, and so much "IN MEMORY OF RONNIE JAMES DIO HIMSELF"!!! R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio. (Ernie Wilber) 🤟🏻💀🤟🏻✌🏻

  4. The greatest metal voice of all time! Rest in peace, Ronnie, but know for a million percent that you are very sorely missed!

  5. Everybody waving their fists to two and four of the 4/4 beat and there's always that one dude who can't keep time and waves his fist to one and three.

  6. I had a rich buddy in junior high and one day his dad rolled up in a Mercedes talking on a "car phone" the size of a small coffee table and jamming this talking. We were in the back seat, jammin.

  7. I saw RJD at the pecan st festival in Austin. As his bad geared up the mist turned into rain, not heavy but bad enough for anyone else to quit. RJD walked onstage and as he did the sky opened up and a beam of sun shined on him like an angel. In true form like a gentleman he thanked the Lord for giving him the opportunity to entertain us and smile together for awhile and he ripped into "we rock", i had to shed a tear and still do when i think about that set he ripped through. That little man taught me something about life that day and i'll always cherish it.
