BTSのテテことVが始球式に登板。ドジャースタジアムがファンの黄色い大歓声に包まれた。
メンバーの人数を意味する背番号7のユニホームを身に着け、マウンドに立ったVは、左腕から捕手役の山本由伸投手に向けてノーバウンドで投球した。
投げ終わるとVはホームベース付近に歩み寄り、帽子を取って一礼。山本とハグを交わしていた。
Ｖは試合前に大谷翔平選手とも対面。日韓を代表する世界的スーパースターの共演に報道陣が殺到した。

V, also known as V of BTS, took the mound for the ceremonial first pitch. Dodger Stadium was filled with the roaring cheers of fans.
Wearing a uniform with the number 7, representing the number of members in the group, V took the mound and threw a no-bounce pitch from his left arm to catcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
After pitching, V walked to home base, removed his hat, bowed, and shared a hug with Yamamoto.
V also met Shohei Ohtani before the game. The press flocked to see the collaboration between the world-famous superstars representing Japan and Korea.
