映画「サムライフ」（森谷雄監督）の公開初日舞台あいさつが2月28日、東京都内で行われ、主演の三浦貴大さんや松岡茉優さん、加治将樹さん、柾木玲弥さん、山本涼介さん、森谷監督が出席した。
主人公を演じた三浦さんは「僕にとってすごく大切な作品」と語り、「この映画は青春群像劇でもあり、現代社会が抱える教育の問題も大切な要素となっている。それを何とかしようと行動してる人達がいるということに目を向け、気づいてくれるきっかけになれば」とメッセージを送った。
舞台あいさつには、原作者の長岡さんがロケ地でもある上田市の桜の花束持ってお祝いに駆け付けるサプライズもあった。
映画「サムライフ」は、長野県上田市出身の元高等学校教員の長岡秀貴さんが、地元上田市で「侍学園スクオーラ・今人」を設立するまでの経緯を書いた同名の書籍が原作。実際に学園がある長野県上田市でオールロケが行われた。

The greetings on the stage on the first screening day of the movie “Samu life” (directed by Takeshi Moriya) was held in Tokyo on February 28th, with the appearance of main cast members Takahiro Miura, Mayu Matsuoka, Masaki Kaji, Reiya Masaki, Ryosuke Yamamoto and director Moriya.
Miura, who plays the main character said: “This is a very important work for me”, and conveyed a message: “This movie is about the adolescence, so the education problem facing the society also becomes an important factor. I hope this will be a chance for people to notice and realize that there should be someone to tackle it somehow”.
