In the heart of the steadfast mountains, where nature shows its power, Mina, a nomadic mother, strives for survival and independence. After a cold and rainy night in the cave shelter, today, a kind angel, the compassionate female filmmaker, comes to visit Mina and her daughter with small but valuable gifts: warm gloves and socks to cope with the winter cold.

Mina, who dreams of building her own shelter, leaves the cave despite the rain to dig her own shelter as soon as possible. She, a fighting and hardworking woman, wants to overcome all obstacles.

During work, the cold penetrates Mina’s bones. But the kind filmmaker, with a heart full of sympathy, gives her her jacket so that she can continue working. Mina, by collecting firewood, warms herself and continues to dig the cave.

She, who has entrusted her daughter to Shiva, tries her best to build a shelter alone in the heart of the mountains. But the intensity of the rain prevents her from continuing her work. Mina, in despair, returns to Shiva’s shelter.

Shiva, with open arms, welcomes Mina. She kindly dries Mina and treats her with warm tea and potatoes baked in charcoal. Mina spends tonight in the shelter of this kind mother, but the dream of independence is still alive in her head.

This story is a narrative of nomadic life in Iran, of women who, despite all the hardships, keep peace and hope alive in their hearts. A narrative of courage, resilience and maternal love, in the heart of the steadfast mountains.
