The Girl President is also lgbt+ friendly and that's super important to mention! 🏳️🌈❤
Maybe the host was innapropriate and they were annoyed 🤷♀️
They reached billboard and they don't give them a contract resign?! 🙄🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Indians also write good lyrics
Why isn’t Sojin in the thumbnail??
Like a decade ago, I was a huge fan of those girls. They were one of my entries into Kpop. They just launched Oh My God at the time. The perception back then wasn't that they were successful, in fact, quite the contrary, they were at their third concept, and the feeling was that their company was changing their concept after every launch because they were not selling enough, and their company was interested just in making money – this was also my first contact with how the corporate nature is killing creativity and is just creating a product. My favorite song of theirs was 'Don't flirt' but as a huge fan of J-Pop I was into the cute stuff too. I felt that they had a lot of potential and that they could be huge one day, so I was waiting for more people to start to notice them. After a while, I got more into rock and metal, and forgot about K-Pop for many years, so I didn't get to see them shift to their 4th concept. Years later, I returned to K-pop, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my girls hit the jackpot and become stars. Even if I no longer could consider myself a fan and followed them, I was really proud to see where they got … shifting from the childish and cute, to the sexy femme fatal was a bit of a shock, but 'Expect' is truly a good song. I was never a massive fan of Kpop in general, excepting a short period of time, over a decade ago, but I had a number of groups I was into, and a small group I felt could be huge. Girls' Day was one of them. BAP was another, they were basically the first Kpop band I heard and liked – they ended up achieving success, but it went down due to corporate greed. The third is Block B. I feel they had the most wasted potential. They got close to the top, but never to the summit. But in the end, all 3 got successful, so I am happy for them. Now the only group I've been following in the past years is Dreamcatcher. Similar to Girls Day, they are underdogs, but unlike them, the company stuck up with a hard-to-sell concept and put in the work, and now is finally starting to pay off. It feels really good when hard-working peoples get their payoff.

My favorite group ❤️
Love Girls day but Ring My Bell hurts my ears
Bumping the discussion: Girls Generation just came out with their most recent comeback.
I got into kpop last year because of Blackpink (BP) and then stumbled onto Girl's day (GD) by accident. I haven't turned back to BP since and I would put GD's music and style up against any other kpop groups, including BP….Just my opinion…
I remember when Twinkle Twinkle came out. I was just 10 years old, had never listened to kpop before, but my older sister had a boyfriend who did, so he showed her some stuff, then she found some more cute stuff for herself, and she showed me Twinkle Twinkle. I remember learning the dance in full and having it on my mp3 player I got during Christmas. The nostalgia that song holds is insane for me
I didn't know Twinkle Twinkle and Something were by the same group until I rediscovered them at 18 years old, and it was nice to see their newer songs (although not new) were fitting for me at my age when I found them again. Even if I didn't follow them actively, it was nice to see how their career followed my age through the years

Now I'm just waiting for your comeback as a group including INFINITE, Wonder Girls, SiSTAR and f(x)! Hopefully make it happen soon since a lot of second gen KPop fans (aside from me) are still patiently waiting here! 💙
I remember Girls Day debut, and thinking "Wow. This is a disaster." Then they came back with "Nothing Lasts Forever" and I was blown away by Minah and Sojin's vocals and the girls undeniable stage presence and charisma. I was so upset that they went to cute concepts, but then they returned with Expectation and became the top group I knew they could be. Watching their career was so interesting!
I really miss them. Hoping for comeback. ❤❤❤
I love their song Darling 🙂
still waiting for them , btw watch Hyeri in HyeMiLeeChaePa
WHAT THE HECK ! I DIDNT EVEN KNOW ONE OF THE GIRL DAYS MEMBER WAS IN ALCHEMY OF SOUL
Still being sad about it 😭
I have a better idea, Girls Day should reunite with the old lineup that had five members
This group had the potential to be huge like BTS if they were managed by a company like Bighit. But yet it depends a lot on the artists themselves.
I think that they will come back again at some point. But since each of them is going their own way, it's not so easy to get back together. as far as success is concerned, I think that each of them is successful. but most of the time, everyone follows their favourite in terms of drama.
I miss girl's day :((
yura will awlays be one of the prettiest kpop girls EVER in my opinion <3 She is so gorgeous <3
at first i thought girl's day was a discount girl's generation because of their name but slowly they become one of my favourite 2nd gen bands. i was so obsessed with sojin back then lol
Girls day something was the first song I heard and that was before I saw the music video because I fell for the RB Melody that just relaxed you. Hope that everyone of the girls are doing well.
girls day said, they will comeback, but no one knows when 🙂
He skipped over "Darling" — as though it was nothing. "Darling" was one of their best songs and performances, which means one of Kpop's best.
still my favorite group ):, their songs & choreos were always so unique. they’re one of the coolest groups imo
Girl's Day and Girl's Generation where the two groups that introduced me to K-Pop. I had just moved to Japan in 2014, and tried them on spotify. Don't Flirt and Oh my God where the two singles that hooked me. Later, I meet a girl who reminded me of Yura and we dated for a couple of years. Didn't end well but good memories all around. Put's a smile on my face and takes me down nostalgia lane every time I hear their songs.
i was a fan of Girls Day since Twinkle Twinkle (knowing them since NFL) and barely anyone around me (in the intl fandom and among my rl friends) had heard of Girls Day which really made me sad lol. GsD were trending downward after Twinkle Twinkle tho and we kind of watched in disbelief when Expect started to blow up! I'm still so happy for their success, they're such queens and produced so many bops. Nothing Lasts Forever is still my jam tho!
4 years later and no comeback 😢
i miss girls day
They started and something unique and original, and dropped that style for the usual common looks and style. They didn;t make a difference anymore
Still waiting for the comeback…
cancelled for being rude as fuck
pls do what happened to ss501 pls thank you
