目黒蓮（Snow Man）さんが主演を務める、月9ドラマ『海のはじまり』は、脚本・生方美久さん×演出・風間太樹さん×村瀬健プロデューサーという、社会現象となったドラマ『silent』（2022年）チームが再集結して贈る、「親子の愛」をテーマに描く完全オリジナル作品。
9月2日（月）に放送された第9話では、夏と弥生の別れが描かれました。
3年以上付き合ってきた2人ですが、夏は海と生きていく覚悟を決め、弥生は「幸せになれるほうを自分で選んでね」という水季からの手紙を読んで、夏との別れを決意。
