    My tweet for today.
    The theme of my tweet for today is [Three positions on Genesis.] Below are three positions on the interpretation of Genesis 1:1-2 in the Bible.

    ① Original Creation View.
    Genesis 1:1 and 2 are interpreted as being continuous. God created a state of chaos and then created order. This is the argument of theologians who take this position.

    ② Pre-Creation View. There was chaos from Genesis 1:1 and 2. For some reason, there was already a state of chaos. And then God created order from that. This is the position of theologians who interpret it as such. This is a relativistic interpretation of the Bible that asserts that before creation, materials such as water and land already existed. It is not a creationism that creates something from nothing. Unfortunately, the majority of theologians support this position.
    ③ Gap theory.
    I support this.
    I am in the position of ③ Restoration theory.
    I am in the very minority position. This position is that some kind of event occurred between Genesis 1 and 2 in the Old Testament. And because of this big event, the sea covered the earth. That event was God's judgment. Because the fallen angels polluted God's creation, God's judgment of wrath was carried out, the sea was born, and the whole earth was covered in chaos. The sea is a symbol of death. The sea is a symbol of curse. And God blessed the chaotic state of the earth and brought order to the new reborn earth. And finally, he created humans. It is the sixth day. However, Adam and Eve were tempted by the snake possessed by Satan and sinned against God. And sin entered all mankind, and death came. However, Jesus Christ, the last Adam, took the sins of all mankind on his shoulders, died on the cross, was buried in a tomb, rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to heaven, and is still alive today. Then, after the fulfillment of the prophecy in the Book of Daniel, Jesus Christ will return to this earth from heaven with Christians and angels. Then, the Abrahamic covenant will be fulfilled and the millennial kingdom will rule the earth. In the Old Testament, chapter 1, verse 1, it is written that God created the universe from nothing, and this entire universe was completed very perfectly. However, verse 2 says that there was chaos.

    In Genesis chapter 6, fallen angels mated with human women and gave birth to giants called Nephrim, and the devil's forces conspired to prevent the appearance of the Messiah, who would be born from the woman's descendants, by contaminating the genes.

    Recently, the gods of the world have appeared as half human, half animal, such as the giants of Zeus in Greek mythology. Then, the earth was destroyed and fell into chaos by God's wrath of judgment. And the Holy Spirit of God was moving over the waters. And so, from Genesis 1:2, God's restoration of order began. This is the position of interpretation. The position is that verse 3 and onwards are a description of God's restoration of order.
