井上和香さんは、1980年5月13日に東京都渋谷区にて生まれる。母は元女優の嵯峨京子さん。
2002年10月に月刊誌のグラビアでデビューすると、その豊満ボディーで世の男性たちを悩殺し、「ワカパイ」や「和製モンロー」などの愛称で親しまれ、女優やテレビMCなど幅広く活躍する。
2012年5月に映画監督の飯塚健さんと結婚、2015年に第1子を出産、2024年3月には第2子妊娠を発表している。
Waka Inoue was born on May 13, 1980, in Shibuya, Tokyo. Her mother is the former actress Kyoko Saga. In October 2002, she debuted as a gravure idol in a monthly magazine, captivating men across the nation with her voluptuous figure.
She became affectionately known as “Waka-pai” and the “Japanese Monroe,” and has been active in a wide range of roles, including actress and TV host.
In May 2012, she married film director Ken Iizuka.
She gave birth to her first child in 2015 and announced her second pregnancy in March 2024.
