Synopsis:
Descendants of the Sun is a South Korean romantic drama, melodrama, action, and comedy series set in the fictional war-torn country of Uruk.
Yoo Shi-jin, a captain in the South Korean Special Forces, is dispatched to Uruk with his team on a peacekeeping mission. There, he meets Kang Mo-yeon, a volunteer doctor who has traveled to the country to help its people.
Shi-jin and Mo-yeon fall in love while working together on dangerous missions and saving lives. However, their love is challenged by the harsh conditions and dangers of Uruk.
