  2. Did she know he was about to try it out on her? Yes she asked him to practice on her but he never indicated that he would. She stood up and bam he was there walking into her space forcing her to retreat a step back. SHe looked surprised by the action. Maybe that is it worked. The element of surprise is invaluable.
