2. Great reaction, but if you are still asking all those questions after watching so many of their songs and performances you really need to watch one of the guides about them. CrypticMisery's 'Everything you need to know about Babymetal' needs to be your next reaction … that explains how they started and their history, who everybody is etc up to about March or April 2021.
   A lot has happened since then of course and there are a couple of shorter guides that are less in depth but more up to date that we can point you towards.

   "The other girls do a little bit"? Wow! They are key to what makes BABYMETAL original and unique. Su-metal is lead vocalist and rules the stage, Moametal and Momometal (and originally Yuimetal) are the link between the band and the audience, they lead the crowd, give them their cues to jump, chant, pump their fists, sing along. They get the whole crowd involved and participating.

   How can you not know if Moametal and Momometal (and Yuimetal before her) can sing? Didn't you react to any of the Black BABYMETAL songs where Su-metal isn't even on the stage?
   You mentioned 'Headbanger', how about Moabanger from Legend M – Moa's 20th birthday celebration in 2019 where she took over lead vocals for the second half of the song?

   You should have got tickets to see them when they were headlining in the UK in November, not waiting until they play at a festival … but go to that too, they will still put on a great show.

   This video was filmed at the third of the four NEX_FEST events arranged by Bring Me The Horizon in Japan. BABYMETAL played at all four events of course. As for flying Tom Morello to Japan to play half a song … I think that wouldn't have been financially viable – he didn't appear when they were touring the US where he lives either.

   So cool they finally released a live version of METALI! without blocked issues, the Summer Sonic version is really cool too but unfortunately almost no one was able to get through the copyright blocked.

   Now you can enjoy the differences with the official MV and of course with that special crowd interaction they did at every live show around the world.

Thanks from Japan 有難う 💛。The repetitive わっしょい "Wasshoi" is a call or yell used in Japanese Matsuri 祭 (festival) to stoke people's exhilaration and especially to encourage the power of guys who are carrying a heavy Mikoshi (神輿) on their shoulders that is a kind of a float in Western style festivals.
   
   The title is a synthesized word from two words : "Metal" and "Matsuri" → Metali.
   
   The audience did get low at every venue in the world, because no one can resist following our Queen's direction.
   
   When it comes to BABYMETAL, everybody prefers live rendition to studio MV. (If this video included cool instrumental intros by Western (American) Kami Band, which are played at every venue, it would be prefect.) This song was one in the setlist performed all of the shows in the 2023 North American tour (29 gigs) with Dethklok and EU/UK tour (20 gigs) and other gigs. I appreciate the devoted support by Chris, CJ, Anthony and Clint (and Ryan in NA tour).

   Momometal's extravagant elocution and moves in Kabuki style with her growl thereafter gave an amazing accent in the exciting repetitiveness.

   So, I'm pretty sure we explained where and how they originated at some point. If not, it's our fault.
   I suggest you to watch some guide. There is a good one by Cryptic Misery but it's a bit outdated (although the info is still good and we can fill you in for the last three years).
   About what they actually like or listen to in their own time… we have no idea. Their real life just don't exists for us. No public SNS profiles no public appearances or anything. But they have been seen having a blast at backstage during a BMTH performance. They have also talked in interviews about liking Sabaton, Limp Bizkit, Måneskin, Iron Maiden, Metallica and others.
