  2. While every eye on Hinata top goal scorer in world cup, but I think Hasegawa deserves more credit as a all round midfielder. Really love her play style, quick pressure and defending against those 2 times larger than her. 🎉

  3. l watched Hasegawa direct her teammates in the freekick that led to Japan's goal in the quarterfinal against Sweden in the World Cup in Auckland. She then made the perfect cross to the left that led to the goal.

  4. Yui Hasegawa is the most complete and effective offensive midfielder that Japanese woman's soccer has ever produced. Her fluidity and improvisation combined with her relentless forward pressing, ball control, and passing foresight scream Iniesta's legacy with every move she makes.
