Was there Saturday watching live in Saitama. He did well; loved the unexpected hip-hop twist at the end. He didn't look that thrilled 2 win bronze though (due 2 combined team score).
Es agradable ver a Nathan disfrutando el patinar, su semblante ha cambiado y ha madurado bastante en un año, ya no sólo es ganar por ganar sino disfrutar para él y el público.
I’ll be honest… first half wasn’t that good. Choreography seems dull, same step sequence as some of his other programs, which make it less of a fit for the song.
Second half is more interesting, but the hip hop sequence seems still a bit… cringy? It’s not the word I mean, but I can’t find other one lol. That’s the only complaint I have.
Still, I’m very happy he enjoys this program! He seems to enjoy it more and that is seen on the way he moves!
I remember two years ago he said he didn’t care about artistry, but he seems to be changing his mind a little. It’s not the best program, but he is becoming better at showing on the ice.
In the future, I hope he’ll embrace his artistic side, since it has potential he doesn’t show.
His jumps seem good, it doesn’t look like he has problems with them. They are fine!
