目黒蓮（Snow Man）映画単独初主演作『わたしの幸せな結婚』が現在公開中。この度、本作に土屋太鳳が特別出演していることが分かった。
3月17日に全国313館で公開スタートし、3日間で観客動員数47.9万人、興行収入6.5億円を超えの好スタートを切った本作は、アニメ化の放送も控える、顎木あくみの同名作品の実写映画化。 土屋さんが演じているのは、本作のヒロイン・斎森美世（今田美桜）の実母・澄美。物語の鍵を握る重要な役どころだ。 美世は早くに実母を亡くし、継母や異母妹から虐げられながら育ってきたために、愛を知ることなく、生きる希望を持てないまま、清霞に出会うまで孤独に生きてきた。美世が唯一心の支えにしていたのは、優しく美しい、桜色の着物を纏う実母の姿の記憶。しかし美世は、久堂家に嫁いでから実母にまつわる悪夢に幾度となく苦しめられるようになる。
