It blows my mind that these influencers continue to do mega hauls for content & probably more than half of the clothes these poor workers are making, who are working 75 hours without breaks & fair pay just to be able to live, will eventually end up in the landfill… it literally makes me sick to my stomach. It’s sickening that a billion dollar company treats their employees like garbage & these influencers LOVE working with them & refuse to see what they are supporting. Shein, Wish, Temu, Ali Express, all the same trash & I’ve been slowly unfollowing any influencers who feel the need to continue supporting them.

  8. Genuine question for us all to think about: why do we (as a society, or even as fans of certain influencers) pick and choose what inhumane thing to be mad over? And who to be mad at? 95% of us leaving comments probably are writing from an iphone made from Chinese slave labor. Most of the clothing we own, or items we use daily, as well. Not really making any direct commentary on what is bad or good or just. Just wanted to leave some food for thought.

  11. I used to be a fan. Back when Collin and Nate were around. The twin lifestyle swaps. Boyfriend swaps ect. Now they aren't the same Gabi was more high maintenance but they both aren't the same as they were

  19. All companies are this way. Nike, Adidas etc they are all underpaying their workers. The main reason is because these large corporations never wanted their overseas workers to create their own brand/ company and it’s taking over their market because it’s so cheap. These companies could definitely pay their workers more but they would rather charge you 120 for something that costs 10/ 20 dollars to make.
    Y’all not ready for that conversation tho….

  20. Maam, most of us dont remember the last time we had a shopping spree, or have never had one. I definitely do not feel bad for her “lack of shopping sprees”. You can take care of yourself without overbuying for no reason

  21. I really do understand wanting new clothes and wanting to be able to buy your style but if I can get only get my style through shein then I can wait.
    No hate if you can’t but there is more important things than being able to get a cute top or pants for cheap. 🤷‍♀️

Niki has proved over and over that she doesn't care, she sounded entitled and she doesnt understand the privilege she has and if she can't manage her money well .. she has the money to hire someone to do it for her instead of making decisions without thinking. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever, she messes up all the time.

  26. I feel as though a lot of the “hate” is genuine fake outrage. I bet you forever 21, fashion nova, aliexpress and SHEIN all use the same warehouse to produce their clothes. It’s all fast fashion and poor work conditions.

  28. im not a supporter of shein but you guys literally pick and choose who to cancel. there are so many other influencers and rich ones that shop from shein and promote yet they don't get cancelled. make it make sense

  32. This to me sounds like she has a shopping addiction, and now that the bills are due, she can’t pay for anything else because she has bills like her mortgage and realized that been shopping isn’t great

  39. niki working with another problematic fashion brand? pretends to be shocked i used to watch her on the niki and gabi channel and she was obsessed with dolls kill even though the quality is shit for the prices and the plus size section sucks

I just think it’s insulting to her fans when she whines, complains & sheds crocodile tears about not having shopping money because she has to pay mortgage on her mansion when she very well KNOWS she accumulated fans from her thrift shopping era that literally have to choose between eating for the week or paying bills

  44. like I would LOVE TO thrift all of my clothes being plus size but 1- skinny girls take plus sizes (like dresses/shirts and make clothing/ 2 piece sets out of the fabric, leaving us with nothing!

    2- having a certain style and trying to thrift it is super difficult.

    3- with more stores shutting down and places like Walmart, target & old navy having limited bigger sizes/shoving plus sizes out of store's to a small af section of the store and its USUALLY by maternity 🙄 makes it super difficult to those who want to shop in store and not online.

    4-atleast with shein every item is individual measured, the clothes are cute, and ill actually wear it! Ive almost stopped shopping at torrid completely b/c nothing is cute, its the same recycled styles for the last like 15yrs… And i wear everything ive ever bought from shein. I have sensory issues and shein has rhe SOFTEST tshirts around! That make me feel comfortable and cute!

    5- i heard that shein is starting to use recycled polyester and is working on their environmental impact (they have a page on Twitter that talks about it). Do i agree with the pay the workers are making? absolutely not!! Do i wear everything ive boight? Yes and what i didnt think i would wear, i sent it back. I jave very limited funds and id rather spend my money where i know im going to love the clothes and keep wearing them, instead of forcing myself to wear clothing that i hate just because its ok and it fits ❤

  46. I do agree with her that influencers are not role models. Then again, the whole point of influencers is that people trust your recommendations so you can make brands money… sooo if she wants to keep being an influencer losing fans is probably not the way to go
