女優の本田翼さんが、プレイステーション（PS）4で10月25日に発売されるゲーム「コール オブ デューティ モダン・ウォーフェア」（ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメント）のテレビCMに出演していることが10月18日、分かった。ゲーム好きとして知られる本田さんが、ゲームの舞台である「現代戦」で戦う兵士を演じる。
CM「共に、戦う者たちの高みへ。」編で、タンクトップ姿で登場した本田さんは、本作のキーアイテムであるナイトビジョンゴーグルを装着、美しい立ち姿で遠くを見つめる。その後、銃を持って仲間とともに戦場へ向かう姿が描かれる。
本田さんは、兵士の格好について「重いっ！（笑い）これにベスト（ボディーアーマー）を着てたんですけど、鉄板が入っているんですよ。これ着て、銃持って、ヘルメット被って走るのがつらかったです」と語っている。
