One of your best performance I had to watch repeatedly to absord the loneliness in married life however your obligation comes first especially if it's for a child who's always the victim in dysfunctional marriage. Thank you for acknowledging my comments. I can relay to the story in this film as truly I experienced the same loneliness. I am sure many can relay to this as divorce is very common nowadays. I raised 3 kids on my own but I was loyal to my husband even if he does not provide for them as he should. I never considered leaving the marriage until the last phase of our 41st wedding anniversary. I recommended the movie to other friends but they are not so enthusiastic but I wont stop here because both performed well as actors. This is a kind of movie GY does best.
Even in comedies like in HELLO MY TEACHER and COFFEE PRINCE. He does it so naturally which is very convincing to his audience. For me this is how I gage the actors abilities in acting. His SILENCE movie was another superb performance. Of course TRAIN TO BUSAN was sensational. Then ONE FINE DAY where he portrayed a not so good person but very lonely due to an obligation he could not get away with. The ending was very sweet and romantic. His performance in BIG was a mixture of of his character in Hello Teacher and Coffee Prince. It was not a hit. Maybe because his role was the unfaithful husband whos soul transferred into another body of a young man.
GY how I wish I can meet you even in one of your fan meeting. I dont speak Korean but I heard you can speak English fluently. I am a Filipino an elderly and in the late part of my life I tried theater acting and screen acting. But due to my failing health I can no longer travel as much as I want as my movement are limited due to a recent heart attach. I really admire your TALENT and among your fans I consider myself on a higher level. . You are now an international celebrity, maybe you can address your fans outside Korea and sing more English songs. thanks for letting me air my admiration.
the song is beautiful and the scene so romantic as both of you here are starting to fall in love with very little dialogue. I heard your partner here is a great actress a multi awarded one She was perfect in this role thats why the movie was a very sensual one.
I love u both in this movie. I do know how it is to be lonely in my own marriage. But I never met someone to make me leave my marriage as my family wc are my childrem cones first. Its sad but thats life u make decisions based on siruations.
