Takuya Kimura plays the role of Nobunaga Oda and Haruka Ayase plays his wife, Princess Nohime, in “THE LEGEND & BUTTERFLY,” a major motion picture commemorating Toei’s 70th anniversary, to be released on January 27, 2011. We spoke to a person involved in the film about what it was like on set.
Ayase was so taken by Kimura’s professionalism that she said, “I can’t keep up with Kimura’s high motivation. I have to learn from him,’ she would sometimes say in frustration. He was also very interested in Kimutaku’s style of body-building, and between takes, he was teaching her how to train at the boxing gym.”…
