  1. This is a prime example as to why a lot of Babymetal fans are so intolerant of any criticism directed at the girls. We can go back to before Babymetal and see them perform as young kids. I guess a kind of maternal/paternal instinct kicks in.

  2. This little lady ones wrote how she was inspired to work hard by the Japanese equivalent of "The Little Engine That Could". That she did. She is an incredible engine a huge talent even at the age of (I assume) 10

  3. Nice reaction! She sang this when she was 9 years old at a presentation at the Hiroshima Actor's School. There are many Japanese children of the same age who sing better. She has not yet reached a steady pitch, and her singing technique is not very good. However, many people who have seen this video have commented in praise. I was also very impressed with this song. I never thought I would be so moved by a little child's song. The power of expression in the song is most wonderful. The original song is up-tempo and bright, but the arrangement has a completely different feel to it, and I was amazed at how she expresses the complex emotions hidden in the lyrics.
I like all of Babymetal's songs, but perhaps this one is my favorite of all.

  4. Glad you appreciated one of little Su's best pre-BABYMETAL vocal performances. Really funny when you realised who it was! haha
Now repeat after me: " I hereby promise to never criticise or question Su-Metal's abilities ever again…….." lol 🙂

  5. No autotune this time! I must say, I'm starting to like the song, the chorus is beautiful.

  6. This footage of Su at Actors School Hiroshima (ASH) is from 2008, the same year she started with Karen Girl's.
She would have been ten years old.
The song was 'Asu e no Tobira' (The Door to Tomorrow) originated by the Pop group I Wish.

  7. If you feel depressed just watch a video of little Suzuka singing and for a few minutes you will forget your problems.

  8. Su only knew one thing someday she would perform at Toyko Dome did not care if she did not learn how to ride a bike or tie her shoe laces .
Strange how you never see Su riding a bike and She wears boots but we have seen her at Toyko Dome.
    ❤😁🤘🦊

  9. Why she caught the eye of KobaMetal because her voice was strong enough to pierce though a heavy metal backing band.
