I miss lisa…….but i have ALWAYS LOVED TLC!!! and now….they are collaborating with my girl namie???? i nearly had a heart attack!!! i was so blown away by the news! I just gotta say…for all u anti christian ppl out there….this is what God does for u and the rest of the ppl he loves <3…….im just saying.
??? what does god do? make shitty remixes of beloved songs? put a chick with an FOB accent on a classic rap? the shit sounds ridiculous, and i'm a diehard TLC fan. and before u go saying i'm racist— i'm asian-american and i can rap that song in my sleep
guess i will do it here then………I dont care what u think or what u say. if u dont like the colllabo then thats ur biz. i was simply thanking Him for making ME happy. AND for all the weirdos out there who didnt like my comment….SO WHAT?! what i said was way less than what millions of others say every single day on this thing. so i dont care. and to confirm….i WONT be losing ANY sleep ever over any of this <3 ;-)!!!
Next up, Marilyn Manson and Dir en grey set aside their mutual dislike for one another and do a collaboration album… (probably will not happen, but it would be interesting though, yes? lol).
PS: Namie's okay and all (liked her better when she was doing stuff like "Come" (one of the end themes from Inuyasha) before all this Pink Panther stuff) but yeah… I like Do As Infinity, Ayumi Hamasaki, CHARA, Fra-Foa, Yaida Hitomi, etc… I got into J-Pop like, 03' and the rock stuff later… (Diru, Mucc, Malice Mizer, Gackt, L'arc en ciel).
I don't know if you can understand me, but if you can, I would like to ask something. So… over there, you guys really like western music, but you don't like the music from your own country because you hear it ALL THE TIME, right? Over here, we listen to Japanese music because we are bored of our own music. Visual Kei bands are interesting, and even non-Visual Japanese Rock still has more variety than the stuff we have here. Isn't is strange how we are kind of alike?
I understand half of what you say.
"you don't like the music from your own country because you hear it ALL THE TIME, right?"
⇒We like Japanese POPS and traditional music.
Actually, I am worried about that Japanese people ,especially young people, does not have much attention to foreign music.
See, the way I understand it. You guys really like western music, like Beatles, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, Korn, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails – because it is different from what you hear on radio and see on TV all the time. For a small portion of us, we prefer J-Rock bands because they are different from what -WE- hear and see all the time. Dir en grey, Mucc, √eight, Lynch., Gackt, Hyde, Malice Mizer, they are unlike anything we have, so to us they are unique and exotic. Yes?
When I first started to discover Japanese music, it was because of Toonami (Cartoon Network) showing Gundam Wing, and I would go download the songs (Rythm Emotion) this was in 2000, I was in 12th grade. Then a friend on the internet exposed me to female pop artists like Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, and I got exposed to Do As Infinity through the songs in Inuyasha, which was also shown on Cartoon Network. I found Japanese -ROCK- in 2003, through a site called Project-J. I was hooked.
In particular, I gravitated to the "Visual Kei" bands, because they looked interesting and had a very spacious sound. Lots of variation in styles. But from what I understand, many Japanese dislike Visual Kei because it has a stigma of being too mainstream. To us, we don't have it, so it is exotic and special. But I hear that many Japanese are strictly fans of western music. I heard about Tatsuro, the singer for MUCC, being hit with bottles and insulted at a Guns n' Roses concert. T_T
世界中じゃなくて、日本でしか発売されなかったと思うよ。日本向けのアルバムだったから、安室さんにしたんじゃない?
