“I play Hanaka Ichirin, the Prisoner. She was arrested for murder, but she’s also something of an underground pop star, and has her sights set on becoming the ultimate pop sensation. Because she’s been toiling away on the bottom rungs of the pop star circuit, she’s no stranger to hardship as well as the sweeter things in life. She’s got plenty of very typical pop star quirks, and there were some difficult scenes where I had to really work to keep up with the changing pace of her emotions. I just hope that on the whole, her dedication, professionalism and cuteness shine through. Simply put, Yurukill: The Calumniation Games has a fascinating story—the kind that shocks and chills you and really gets under your skin, and I mean that in the best possible way. I really hope players get stuck into the quizzes and shoot ‘em up sections, get to know all the characters and the incidents they’re embroiled in, and get to the bottom of the mystery of Yurukill Land!”

◆About Yurukill: The Calumniation Games

An escape adventure and bullet hell shoot ‘em up game based on an original story by Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler author, Homura Kawamoto, with a scenario by his younger brother, Hikaru Muno. Features character design from Hiro Kiyohara, known for his work on Valkyria Revolution, and a soundtrack from Yuko Komiyama, who worked on the Monster Hunter series. The shoot ‘em up elements were developed by veteran studio, G.Rev.
