　大正時代を舞台とした大和和紀さんの人気少女マンガが原作の劇場版アニメ「はいからさんが通る」の前編「紅緒、花の17歳」の特別映像が11月14日、公開された。

　「はいからさんが通る」は、大正時代を舞台に、剣道が特技でじゃじゃ馬な“はいからさん”こと花村紅緒と婚約者・伊集院忍の恋を描いたラブコメディー。1975～77年に「週刊少女フレンド」（講談社）で連載され、第1回講談社漫画賞少女漫画部門を受賞。78～79年に全42話のテレビアニメが放送されたほか、87年に南野陽子さん、阿部寛さん主演の実写映画が公開された。79年、85年、02年にテレビドラマも放送された。

　新作劇場版アニメは、同作の連載40周年を記念した企画で、約38年ぶりにアニメ化。早見沙織さんが花村紅緒、宮野真守さんが伊集院忍の声優を務めている。

The special video of the previous episode “Benio, hana no 17-sai” of the anime movie “Haikara-san ga Tōru” (originally a shoujo comic book in the background of Taisho era by the favorite Author Waki Yamato) was premiered November 14th.

“Haikara-san ga Tōru” is a comic romantic book set in the Taisho period, which tells the love story between Hanamura Benio “Haikara-san” who has strong personality and good skills of sword art, and her fiancé, Ijūin Shinobu.

It was published in series on “Shojo Friend” (Kodansha) and received the first Kodansha Comic book Award.

Besides the whole 42 anime TV stories that premiered from 1978 to 1979, in 1987, live action movie starred by Yoko Minamino and Abe Hiroshi as the protagonists were broadcasted as well.

TV drama was broadcasted in 1979, 1985 and 2002.

The new anime is the 40th anniversary project of the work, which was adapted into anime after about 38 years. Saori Hayami performed the character Benio Hanamura, Mamoru Miyano performed the character Ijūin Shinobu.
